About the Owner
Dina Hobson, Adult Nurse Practitioner, and CEO/owner of Soul Serene Wellness & Medspa in beautiful Atlanta GA. At Soul Serene she strives to enhance the wellness and beauty of her clients from the inside out.
Professionally, she is a graduate of Penn State University where she obtained a B.S. degree in Health Policy and Administration. While working in hospital administration, she quickly learned that incorporating clinical skills would elevate her knowledge and afford her the best opportunity to care for the Patients. With this in mind, she went back to school and obtained an associate degree in nursing, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing and board certification as a CRNP.
Dina has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and opened one of the few Home-based Nurse Infusion companies in the Philadelphia area, at that time, where high-tech infusions like 5Fu and Milrinone drips were performed in the comforts of patients’ homes.
She has a passion for educating and encouraging patients, especially those who are disenfranchised and underserved, to be active participants in their health care. There are many illnesses where adverse trajectories can be thwarted if barriers to care are minimized, and education is afforded. A large part of her professional journey and goals were based on educating Patients regarding basic concrete strategies to improve the quality of their lives. In addition, helping clients to look and feel better is a major component of her current mission.
Personally, she enjoys spending time with family and good friends. She is an avid travel buff and enjoys learning about healthcare delivery methods in various parts of the world.
In the future, she would love to be a part of the conversation that will make decisions affecting healthcare and delivery to those who are less fortunate. Healthcare EQUITY for ALL…. what a wonderful goal to reach for obtain!
